Manfred Mustermann Practical Training/ Internship for Indians - DAAD arranges few placements for training in some fields. Information on this can be obtained from the DAAD Office New Delhi.

Objective - To give an opportunity to Indian students to carry out practical training (internship) in Germany as a part of their on-going course of study.

Target Group - Students at advanced level (Except for final year) enrolled at university/research institute.

Duration - 2 to 6 months

Finances - Students must cover their own air-fare; employer/host institution pays nominal monthly allowance for living expenses.

Application Procedure - The candidates should get in touch with institutions where they wish to go for training themselves, i.e. establish contact with an appropriate employer and get the necessary letter of acceptance. Thereafter, they can write to DAAD New Delhi for necessary departure clearances.
